It all starts with an idea.

I'm a creative director with experience in diverse fields as communication design, illustration, product design and, motion design.

Over the years I've been responsible for directing brands, managing clients and stakeholders, train and hire teams, and manage external agencies/ service providers.

In the past I was given carte blanche to assemble my design team at SuckUK, however, after almost 4 amazing years at Suck UK decided that was time for a complete life change and moved to Berlin where I became Art Director at LOQI

After two years, it was time to try something different, the boom of the SaaS companies was happening and I’ve decided I wanted to get a taste of it. An amazing opportunity came up to manage and direct a team for a SaaS company in Bielefeld Germany with the ambition to revolutionize the QR Code technology and the way the user interacts with it. Today, I can say we achieved it, by having grown the users from 2.Mil to 10Mil and counting.

I strive to keep on improving myself as a designer and enjoy working alongside an eclectic mixture of hard-working people.

The journey so far

I am a creative designer, with a broad knowledge of the main fields of communication design.

As a designer, I am used to being part of a project in all of its stages. I am able to understand what the product is, the production process that it requires, how to communicate it, and who it is aimed at.

My career began in 2008 doing graphic design, before straying into product design and illustration. I've developed a distinctive visual style that injects fun and playfulness into projects, and using illustration to bring out the best in a product is the thing I enjoy doing the most; my mind flows freely through my hands while developing concepts, products or marketing campaigns.

I am truly passionate about what I do and try to maintain the same excitement in all challenges given to me, contributing with my personal aesthetic values to suggest something creatively different from what is expected, but that responds to the request just as effectively.

My specialties are illustration and communication design, but I am also passionate about many other fields that can help improve my main specialties.

Art director, (March 2016-February 2018)

LOQI is a product design company founded in 2012 with a special focus on four product categories, Backpacks, Bags, Zip Pockets and Luggage Covers. I was invited to help LOQI maintain and develop the brand and to create a solid image all across the world.

As the Art Director I have been given control of the design team and together develop a strategy to take off the company from the start-up level. My role started by cleaning and uniforming all the company’s procedures, from the communication in and out the office (e.g. production factories, distributors, retailers and sales) to the on/off-line communication.

Due to the short existence of the company the brand built its image fast and unsteady. Now, after four years the brand has improved the image into a bolder and cleaner communication, promoting the collaboration with different illustrators and clean design that differentiates them from their competitors.

During my time at LOQI I have also developed new visual merchandising material to stand out in the POS of the world, created trade-shows booth concepts and stand-alone displays for retailers surfaces.LOQI offers the customisation of their products to all sorts of institutions and companies. Alongside the original collection, I also managed the custom projects workflow assuring the company brand guidelines all over the different distribution channels.
